WILCO may have just wrapped up a tour, but that doesn't mean you can't see them out there on the road.
Nels and Glenn
have a few shows scheduled during the break in the band's tour schedule.
They are also playing a show together on July 29th in Milwaukee.
07/04/2006 - New photos from Summer Tour
Thanks to Zach for sending in some great pictures from the recent Duluth show.
05/06/2006 - Summer Tour Plans
A summer tour of Canada and parts of the Northern US has been announced at Wilcoworld.
I've also been doing some updates to the Google Earth file of Wilco venues & tours. Check it out if you get a chance.
I'd appreciate any corrections you have as well. I know many of the venues are in the wrong location since I only have them placed by their city, and not the actual street address.
So, check out the venues in your city, and drop me a line if you have any corrections.
03/07/2006 - Wilco Hits The Road Again
Check out the Wilcoworld Shows page for the Wilco Spring tour schedule.
I'm just back from some much needed R&R and I have a backlog of updates for the site. Keep an eye on the What's New page for the latest site updates.
02/02/2006 - Jeff Tweedy Letters To Santa shows
For the past few years, The Second City Chicago holds a 24-hour improv marathon called "Letters To Santa" which provides presents for needy children and families in the Chicago area.
Jeff Tweedy has performed during the marathon for the past few years. The past 2 years, there has been an auction for a private living room concert with Jeff. I've finally gotten around to posting the setlist for the 2005 show.
This year, there will be three private living room shows, two of which have already taken place. One of the 2006 setlists is here (complete with a first hand review and photos).
01/21/2006 - New Jeff Tweedy solo & Wilco tour dates
The Wilcoworld Shows page has been updated recently with a few more Jeff Tweedy solo tour dates. There's also more Wilco dates scheduled around the Langerado festival.
01/10/2006 - New Loose Fur Album details
This Billboard article gives details about the new Loose Fur album.
The album is set to be released March 21st, and the article reveals the name of the new track Jeff has been playing at recent solo shows. It's called The Ruling Class.
01/01/2006 - Check out Clay's slideshow - Part II
Clay has created another QuickTime slideshow, this time featuring Walken and his awesome photos of the Tulsa show. Check it out here.
12/09/2005 - Google Earth file updated
Planning a road trip to see the recently announced Jeff Tweedy shows?
I've updated the Google Earth KMZ file to include the latest shows and tours.
Just open the file in Google Earth and open the Tours\2006 folder to view the tour path for Jeff's next tour.
I'll try to keep this file updated as new dates are announced. The Google Earth KMZ file is also now available via the link located near the bottom of the menu bar on the left of all pages.
12/04/2005 - View Songs Played by Tour
Yes, that's right... 2 Updates to the Songs Played page in the same day!
This time, I've added "Tour" selection to the filter form. When you select a tour, the page will lookup the start and end dates, and set them for you automatically.
I still need to enter the final tours of this Fall, but there should be enough here to keep you busy until I get them entered.
I've given each tour a generic name, based on the season. If you know of a better name for the tour, please let me know and I'll get it updated.
For something funny, check out the Fall 1997 tour - Passenger Side was played 10 times in 5 shows!
12/04/2005 - Songs Played Update - added column sorting
I've added the ability to sort the columns on the Songs Played Page. Just click on the column header text and it will sort that column. Click the same column to switch between ascending/descending sort.
This makes it much easier to see which songs only got played once or twice, and the songs that got played at every show.
The WFUV interview from when Jeff was in NYC is now available in their archives. Listen to it here.
Near the end of the interview, there is some insight on how Jeff comes up with the setlists. They even mention "this crazy site", and the Wilco Lyrics Archive.
11/21/2005 - Songs Played
I realized the new Songs Played page has everything the old one had, so I just replaced the old one with the new Songs Played page I added yesterday.
11/20/2005 - Attention Statistics Geeks
I've added a new page to the site. For lack of a better name, it's called the Songs Played by Date page. It's similar to the
Songs Played page, but this one gives detailed setlist information per show. Here's the page for Jeff Tweedy's current solo tour
You will see each song played and it's position in the setlist each night. Cumulative stats are also displayed on a per song basis.
The table it generates is so wide that the navigation bar on the left of the page gets squashed. I'll have to fix that another time. I wanted to get this page live while Jeff is still touring.
11/07/2005 - What's New RSS Feed
I've added a new RSS feed that will list the Bonus Material items added to the site in the last 30 days.
This includes concert reviews, photos, posters, CDR artwork and setlist scans. Subscribe to this feed and you will be kept up to date with newly added content.
11/06/2005 - Tweedy on Tour
Jeff played the first show of his solo tour last night.
Looks like you will be in for a real treat if you get a chance to see him over the next few weeks. For me, I'll have
to wait for the first recordings to roll in.
I've updated the Google Earth KMZ file to incude tour paths. I've also turned off all the placemarks by default. Just open the folders and check the items you wish to view.
9/7/2005 - Updated Milan Venue Locations
Thanks to Tommaso for sending location updates for the venues in Milan. The Google Earth KMZ file has been updated.
9/3/2005 - Hurricane Katrina Relief Info
The band is doing a one time poster sale to raise funds for the relief effort. Place your order for a poster and help out the victims of hurricane Katrina.
9/3/2005 - Back on the Road
Well, the guys are back on the road. I'll post setlists updates when I receive them.
I've updated the Google Earth KMZ file. Check it out and feel free to contact me with updates or corrections.
7/17/2005 - Where's Wilco Part II
Ok, the Google Maps interface is up and running.
Check it out here. Let me know if you have any problems, or if you have any suggestions for improvements. Always looking for feedback.
7/15/2005 - Where's Wilco
...Or should I say, where was Wilco. I've been playing around with Google Earth and I've managed to plot all the venues Wilco has been to over the years.
Of course each venue has a list of shows played there, along with setlist links. Here's the KMZ file which you can load right into Google Earth. Enjoy.
Oh, and in case you were wondering.... Yes, I'm working on adding a Google Maps interface to this site. Stay Tuned.
5/26/2005 - Finally, some updates
I've finally had a chance to update the site. Latest setlists include the 4th Wilco show at the Vic and the Tweedy solo show at Northwestern.
Also, thanks to Clay for more photos from the OKC show.
5/9/2005 - 4th Vic show setlist
Here's the setlist for the 4th Vic show. Huge thanks go out to Paul for providing such great notes. So much going on during this show, it's amazing he was able to keep up.
I've had some computer problems over the weekend, hence the the delay in getting this posted. I'll try to get it entered into the database tomorrow.
5/6/2005 - 4 Nights at The Vic
Use the Songs Played page to keep tally of the setlists for Wilco's 4 night run at the Vic Theater.
4/26/2005 - On The Road Again
The guys have hit the road again so that means it's time to dust off the site and do some updates. I'll try to keep up
with the setlists as I get them. It's been awhile since I've had time to update the site, so my inbox is full of
corrections and other additions to older setlists. I have artwork for some new and old shows -- look for an update
later this week.
Don't forget about the What's New page, it will give you links to the most recent
Bonus Material updates.
This just in.... June is shaping up to be a busy month.
Stay tuned to the Wilcoworld Shows page for the latest updates.
3/11/2005 - Artwork Page
I'm pleased to announce the newest addition to wilcobase.com -- CDR cover art! The Artwork page
will allow you to browse all artwork by year or artwork creator. Also, the Event page for each show will
display artwork if it's available for that show.
If you would like to contribute artwork to this site, please use the contact e-mail.
A big thanks to the initial group of cover art artists for the content, I couldn't have done it without them.
2/20/2005 - What's New Page
The What's New page will list Bonus Materials that have been added to the site
in the last 30 days. It has a section for each type of item, and the items within each section are sorted
based on the date they were added, with most recent at the top.
You can always find the most recent setlists listed on the main menu or in the RSS feed.
I'm also in the planning stages of adding user created artwork for Wilco recordings. If you create artwork and would
like to have your art entered into the database, drop me an e-mail.
1/5/2005 - Happy New Year!
I'd like to wish everyone a very happy new year, and to offer my thanks to everyone who contributed to the site over the past year.
The credits page sure is getting full!
I've been busy adding more posters and getting caught up on some e-mails with setlist corrections, etc.
Be sure to check out the new Bonus Materials page for all the cool posters and photos.
12/10/2004 - New page - Bonus Materials
The Bonus Materials page lets you view all the bonus material for all shows at once.
I'll eventually add some searches to this page, but for now it just lists all shows.
The Songs Played page lets you see how many unique songs were
played over a period of time.
10/16/2004 - New page - Setlist Matcher
The Setlist Matcher page lets you choose up to 5 songs and
see every show that included all of those songs.
Also, at the bottom of the sidebar menu on the left of this page will be links to the most recent
setlists. I'm going to stop posting a news item just to indicate a setlist was added.
Every Time Played page is back up, but I may not be able to update it with the most recently added setlists.
10/6/2004 - Radio City Music Hall Setlist
RCMH Night 1 Setlist
Also, the Every Time Played page is down until later tonight. It was taking too long to update, but
I should be able to get it working better tonight. This page has been very popular since it appeared here
last month, so I want to get it working again ASAP.
10/5/2004 - Norfolk Photos
A few "snapshots" from the recent show in Norfolk.
Thanks to Charles for sharing these great photos.
10/3/2004 - A look back...
Thanks to Robert, you can take a look at the "official" setlist from a show in 1997.
This is by far the oldest setlist I've received so far. I'd like to take this opportunity to put a call out for
scanned images of ticket stubs and setlists. Just use the contact link on the menu to send me your images.
My main focus is keeping the setlists updated, but as time permits, I will add bonus material --
it just makes for a complete record of past shows.
While I was updating this show, I took a look at the
calendar for February 1997,
and noticed that Wilco only had 5 days off for the entire month!
9/30/2004 - More Fall Tour Setlists
Check the Concert Calendar page to access the recent setlist updates.
9/15/2004 - Every Time Played added to Stats section
The Every Time Played page lets you choose a song and
see every time that song was played, along with the song played before and after it. Also listed is the
number of shows since that song was last played.
Oh yeah, they guys are back on the road. Hope I can keep up!
9/14/2004 - New Stats section
A while back I received a bunch of great suggestions (thanks Chandler) for a new class of pages that allow
you to browse through the setlist data and view different types of statistics. Well, the first
page in the new stats section is finally ready.
The Played/Not Played page lets you compare songs that
were Played or Not Played between two years. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Stay tuned for more of these types of pages in the near future.
8/25/2004 - More fall tour dates
Wilco HQ has posted more fall tour dates for
October and

I'll try to keep this site updated, but you can always get the latest info straight from the

Well, Lollapalooza was cancelled, but new shows are being added to the post-Europe tour calendar.
Also, check out the setlist for Portsmouth
6/22/2004 - A Ghost Is Born... today
Well, the release day is finally here. It looks like Wilco HQ
has some special treats in store.
Added Oslo setlist, review and pictures.
As some of you may have noticed, there's a problem with setlists on dates when there are two shows on the same day.
I thought it was an isolated case of one or two shows and I fixed those, but threre are about a dozen other shows that have
the same problem. I'll get them fixed over the next few days.
6/17/2004 - Setlist RSS Feed, new Bonus Materials
I've created an RSS feed for Wilco setlist updates from the current tour.
This is my first time working with RSS, so if you have any problems or suggestions,
let me know Also, be sure to check out these new bonus material items:
Vic Theater review 9:30 Club review and photos Finally, thanks to everyone for sending setlist corrections and bonus material items. I'll get them added

Late Show with David Letterman
this Wednesday night.
Also, added more pictures and reviews from the recent run of east coast shows.
6/7/2004 - More Bonus Material, EVENT page update, Pittsburgh setlist
I've done a quick search of the internet and added about 30 show reviews. I also added a new bonus material
item -- ticket stubs. Here's a couple to get things started
Wilco @ GAMH 1/12/03 Wilco @ Red Rocks 9/13/03 Also, you will notice I added calendars to the EVENT page. That page was basically a dead end as it was,
now you can browse shows in the month before and after the show you initially selected.

the setlist from Poughkeepsie

I'm trying to maintain a collection of photos, reviews, etc. associated with each show. Check out the
page for the first show of the tour to see an example.
I currently don't have the means to host pictures, but I'll link to your picture pages if you send me the address.
Thanks again to those who have submitted setlist corrections, or new setlists over the last week. I'm still working
out some kinks in updating the site, hopefully in the future your corrections will be processed more quickly.
